Gabby's life has had its share of ups and downs, and she humorously likens it to "a series of unfortunate events," à la Lemony Snicket. But beneath the laughter, she holds a profound belief in the power of perspective. Life is a beautiful and complex journey with its own set of challenges. Embracing this reality helps us stay centered and focused during trying times.

In the past two years alone, Gabby has faced a series of life-altering events, from moving countries to surviving a brain tumor. She's gone through a simultaneous divorce, experienced the heartbreak of a miscarriage, and confronted the challenges of in vitro attempts. These situations could break anyone, but Gabby's perspective on life is truly unique.

Gabby doesn't dwell on the concept of fairness or unfairness. Instead, she sees life's obstacles as lessons to learn and challenges to overcome. This outlook enables her to be the most graceful, centered, and mindful version of herself during tough times.

One pivotal phrase in Gabby's life is "the show must go on." This phrase holds true even in the face of uncertainty and adversity. When she moved to paradise, Punta Cana, she struggled with unexplained health issues. Despite the fear and uncertainty, Gabby's determination never wavered. She reminded herself that the show must go on, and she had to put one foot in front of the other, even without an understudy.

Gabby's resilience and her ability to find the silver lining in any situation earned her the endearing nickname "Gabby Silverlining" among her family. For her, waking up each morning is a reason to be grateful. Just being alive and having the opportunity to share her experiences with others is a gift worth celebrating.
