Ready for Labor Induction Class

What to Expect & How to Prepare

Know what to expect—and how to create a positive induction experience

If you’ve been told you may need an induction…

You might be feeling a mix of:

  • Curiosity

  • Uncertainty

  • And maybe a little loss of control

Because induction can feel like a shift away from the birth you imagined.

But here’s the truth:

An induction doesn’t take away your ability to have a powerful, intentional birth experience.

With the right preparation—you can still feel informed, supported, and in the driver’s seat.

"I truly appreciated her ability to not only educate us on what to expect on the day of delivery and how to advocate for ourselves."

- Danielle

An Induction

of Labor Class

This class is for you if you are:

  • Planning a medical labor induction

  • Have been told induction is likely or recommended

  • Wanting to understand your options, timing, and choices

  • Looking for ways to have a more positive, supported experience

Partners and support people are strongly encouraged to attend—because your team matters.

what you'll learn...

  • Why inductions are recommended (and what’s actually evidence-based)

  • The different types of induction methods (medications, mechanical options, and more)

  • What the induction process looks like step-by-step

  • How long it can take—and what’s normal

  • How to prepare for the rhythm and pacing of an induction

  • Ways to support your body and stay as comfortable as possible

  • What happens if plans shift along the way

Advocacy + empowerment (woven throughout)

You’ll also learn how to:

  • Ask the right questions before and during your induction

  • Understand your options at each step

  • Make decisions that feel aligned with your values

Because even in a medical process—you still have choices.
